(June 12, 2023, 7:27 pm)What a beautiful place to make my own wine. Great price, friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and well organized space, and super-convenient location, what more can we ask? You can see the innovation and pride in how the location has been renovated, with the way the carboys are brought up automatically from the first floor, modern lighting and counters with the historic stone fireplace, and great ideas in the gift section. The views out the windows of the forest are lovely. It would be hard to convince me there's a nicer or better-run make-your-own-wine shop anywhere in the world.
We box our wine and also sometimes put it in bottles. The boxes have a spigot so it's very convenient for quiet evenings or get-togethers. When we box a batch, we always start another.
The Cab Sav and the Merlot are both excellent, just really good straightforward excellent flavour. No bells and whistles, just great red wine. Others may disagree but we've tried a lot over the years, and we prefer it to anything we've bought over the last 30 years at the LCBO or wineries in southern ON, including VQA. Try it and you'll see. -

(May 4, 2023, 5:47 am)Holy Hannah! I love this place! They're always so friendly and fun! I'd recommend this place even if you don't drink wine. It's such a good price that they're perfect to give out and bring for social gatherings! Then who knows maybe you'll get into wine drinkin'!

The atmosphere and environment is beyond exceptional and if you are thinking of making your own wine then go in here and see Cara and Denise because they will set you up with everything you need and will answer any questions you have if you are hesitant or don't know what wine to make first!
