(November 2, 2023, 7:28 pm)Was on a road trip in Canada with 2 friends back in 2019. We had to wait at this store for 8 hours till our bus came. We was just sitting there and waiting untill this kid, Ricky ( I think that was his name
) came home from school and started playing basketball in front of us. We played with him for hours and he made our day a lot better! Ricky, if you read this, I hope you and your family are doing good! We still think about you guys and we will always be grateful for your kindness.

(September 30, 2023, 2:39 pm)Lol I was a witness to Sarah Anne. Owner was very polite and very professional. Owner told her that the bathroom was for customers only. This is pretty much standard from my experience.
She then says to him. "What if I buy something afterwards?" So he hands her the key. She uses the bathroom doesn't buy anything and then proceeds to drive away with the husband. Owner stops the vehicle and tells her he doesn't like getting lied to. Owner isn't wrong. Shameful behaviour Sarah Anne. He runs a general store in the middle of nowhere and you can't pay 25 cents to use the bathroom.
I've been using this store for years. Owner has always been respectful and very professional. -

(August 29, 2023, 3:22 pm)Stopped by because my kids needed to go to the washroom. My phone didn't have the internet in that area so I wasn't able to see how much longer to reach the next better known gas station (heading to the Ottawa direction). The washroom was locked with a sign "for customer only". Well...fair enough cos they needed to maintain it. So, we went inside to buy something and I picked a bottle of Orange Crush. The store keeper was an old South Asian. He stared at us from head to toe rudely. My mind was like...if you don't trust people, then don't open a business here. I tried to tell myself...well....may be it's tough to do business here cos they need to prevent robbery in the middle of nowhere. We got the key to the washroom, which was actually quite clean. Since it's the 4 of us, it took us a little while. The old guy came out a couple of times to check. After we were done, I returned the key. No one was at the front counter but I heard someone from the inner room said "thank you". When I just got back to the car, I saw that old guy went to the washroom to check everything. In general, you could see that they don't trust people at all. I'm not sure if that's the South Asian culture or it's because they had some bad experience before. But then we saw ESSO not too far from this store (about 10 - 15 min driving) and we told ourselves we should have waited.
