(March 25, 2017, 10:51 pm)If you had to stay in a hospital, you'd want it to be this one! Nursing and other staff are second to none. Emergency services are great, waiting times are reasonable. Very good hospital, considering the size of the town. Helipad onsite, ambulance service is right next door.

(August 26, 2016, 11:26 am)My rating of 'OK' has more to do with the fact that a hospital visit can never be 'great' (at least in my humble opinion)... All things told, DRDH ends up being a better experience than most elsewhere. ER wait times are increasing noticeably these days, probably due to the spillover from other nearby hospitals. Very courteous and professional staff.

(March 29, 2013, 12:14 am)My travelling companion developed Norovirus on a trip to Ottawa. Fortunately, we were near Deep River and the great Emergency Department at the Deep River Hospital.
The staff there were great.........totally friendly and professional.
