Been enjoying their butter tarts for over 30 years, back with they were on old 17 and just made them at home and sold them on the counter. Obviously they have expanded baking operations and everything is to die for.
Also noteworthy is the really friendly staff, delicious chicken salad sandwiches, and the restaurant is also fantastic. Washrooms area always very clean. A+ -

(September 10, 2021, 12:08 am)I've had countless breakfasts as well as a number of lunches and dinners at the Antrim Truck Stop - even back as far as before they set up shot in this "new" location.
Service is always amazing - nothing like walking in and not needing a menu for a table of three because it's the same person who has taken care of us for years. Yesterday, I was again helped by my favourite and best waitress ever!
Oh the food? Amazing and consistent as always. Definitely worth a stop if driving through Arnprior! -

(August 23, 2021, 10:56 pm)My ultimate favourite since were on Highway 17. Was so happy when found out moved and can still get their great food. More then 20+ years I have been eating. A lot of times it was on way to destination, other times it was the destination. Food so good and so much I couldn't eat anymore which meant my fries had to stay. New rewards program which allow me to get a free fountain drink. Might have to drive here from Ottawa just for the rewards!!!

(August 10, 2021, 3:35 pm)One of my favorite breakfast spots out there. Whenever we are on highway 17 heading that way, we always plan to make a stop. If it is not breakfast time, lunch is great too. But their homemade bread/pastries are amazing!! Highly recommend stop, even if it just to stop and stretch your legs.

I haven’t been back here for a while but since I had to take my father-in-law into Ottawa for a hospital appointment, we all agreed stopping for breakfast/lunch was mandatory on the way home to Pembroke. I saw on the menu that there are new owners and they’ve given the inside a little makeover. I mean, there’s a beautiful giant truck indoors! Who wouldn’t love that? My new favourite - Christmas dinner on a bun. And I knew we were leaving with a pie. Today’s pick: chocolate cream. Yum! The baked goods are always wonderful. I got a few other things to take home as well. Great place to stop for a meal any time of the day.
