  Interior design is decent, place is spacious. Had a bit of a hard time understanding the workers but managed to get around. Menu is very confusing to read, skip the dishes vs website vs the physical menu vs the menu mounted on the walls are all different layouts and have different items on the menus. Tacos are delicious, authentic and fairly priced. They have a station for condiments which was a great addition. I wanted to try one their drinks (horchata, tamarindo, jamaica) but they had none available on a Friday afternoon which was strange. Churros aren't home made, comes from a box. Overall its a great place for tacos, will be making another visit!

  La Torteria is a great hidden gem in the Vaughan/Woodbridge area. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff who offered his recommendations based on popularity. I chose the Milanesa Torta which I was eagerly anticipating. I would say that this particular torta was okay. The chorizo and the ham made it a bit on the salty side and it was also a bit dry. It was still flavorful, just those couple of things I noticed. I also would have liked the avocado more spread throughout the sandwich. After this experience I would still go back to try the other menu options.

  The other day I found a place that offered a great deal to have my tires rotated,so I head for my appointment early and I see a sign "Tacos"
  Lord knows I love tacos,so I'm early for my appointment and it is lunch time so I decide to try this place as I've found over the years it's always these small out of site restaurants that have the best authentic home cooked foods.
  I entered the establishment and was greeted by a very friendly gentleman named Robert.
  Robert was fantastic! Walked me through their menu. I usually don't eat a huge lunch so I opted for a soft steak taco.
  It was delicious!!! My only little thing is I'd ask next time to be easy on the cheese. Little to cheesey for myself but others night enjoy that. Easy fix for next time on my part.
  They offer a range of sandwiches that look absolutely delicious!!! In fact I might head up there this week to try one.
  They also have a hot sauce bar with about 6-8 different sauces hot and mild. I didn't get to try them all but I'll be sure to next time when I have more time.
  All in all it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this place if you enjoy authentic Mexican street food!
  These guys are doing it right with a smile on their faces!

  I will be heading back soon and I'm bringing the wife next time as she loves Mexican food as much as myself!

  Absolutely Amazing.....I ate there twice today and plan on going as much as I can in the future. The steak tacos are the most authentic and best ever - and this is after I spent 2 weeks in Mexico eating tacos! My second visit today was even better, the chef made us vegan tacos with zucchini flowers, which were to die for. So happy they are in Woodbridge! Would recommend this place to any carnivore, vegetarian or vegan, who truly wants to experience authentic Mexican food.

  Wow the food was incredible. Tastes so fresh and so authentic. Probably the best Mexican food I have ever had. Better then when I was in Mexico. I did take out, and the gentlemen there was nice and welcoming and even gave me a small bowl of soup on the house while I waited. I will definitely be back.
