Great location to train for adults and children!!!
Owners Danny and Nadia Moroney both are great people. Great instructors!
Senior belts volunteer their time and are dedicated to help instruct and/or assist classes.
Everyone is very focused on helping and developing the students to grow.
I greatly appreciate:
-classes offered everyday of the week ...
-many assistants (senior belts) Volunteering for the kids class. They are helping the children to ensure they are learning the techniques properly.
-Great warm up that includes exercises that work on strengthening core and lower back.
-kids are constantly reminded to work the technique and work with their partner so no one gets hurt.
-very positive environment for the kids ... kids are taught with compassion and enthusiasm
-increase in stamina, endurance and conditioning developed as a result of the training
- as a result of the training, the children develop self-confidence, self-awareness, self-defence and focus.
-competitive rolling time at the end of each class ... (where the kids are monitored by the senior belts to ensure they are bringing out their best and no one gets hurt)
-facility has new equipment and mats which facilitate in a better training experience
Culture and environment where everyone cares to help each other improve, grow and for each of us to be the best we could be.
I suggest everyone try training at this location for 1 month and see for themselves the difference the training makes in their lives.
I recently went to check out Bravado/Gracie gym and I was very impressed. Professor Dan and Nadia, took the time to chat with me and go over any questions I had, afterwards I was invited to sit in and observe a class, and I only intended to stick around for only a few minutes, however, I ended up staying for over an hour and really fell in love with the culture at their gym. You get a sense of family amongst everyone there, and after speaking to some of the members, I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone. The only thing I wish they had was more flexible payment plans. I am unable to commit long-term, as I will be moving out of country soon, and was hoping for monthly or 2-3 month packages.
Amazing place! Not only are Dan and Nadia knowledgeable but they have created a safe and friendly environment in which you can learn regardless of your skill level. If you are looking to get in shape, gain confidence, or just try something new, Bravado has a great community feel where everyone is welcome.
