  We have been very happy with shining Light. Both of our kids went here and our older daughter just got a fabulous end of the year report in grade 1. They do lots of activities like a field trip, 2 concerts, special theme days and special lunches 1-2x a month. Shining Light is also more affordable than quite a few other preschools and Montessori’s in the area. They offer different options for attendance also which is great. And their camp in the summer is geared towards different fun activities as well as some learning. Don’t hestitate to sign your child up here. You won’t be disappointed!

  I have been teaching Yoga & Movement at Shining Light Montessori since 2013. The school premises are always immaculate. The staff are professional and amazing. Children are given the opportunity to learn and excel in a small class ratio at their own pace. Would recommend Shining Light Montessori to parents seeking a well grounded foundation for their children.

  I truly recommend this school to any parent looking to prepare your kids to transition to grade school. The academic program is great and the teachers are patient and amazing with the kids. This school was amazing for my son. The teachers are all very caring and great with the kids. My son attended other schools and this was the only one that his confidence excelled and I could actually see his academic skills increasing. My comfort level with the school and the teachers was a definite 10. I am truly appreciative for their efforts and everything they taught Marlon. Keep up the great work ladies and take pride in your efforts the kids leaving your school definitely are getting a great start because of all of you. Thank you for the peace of mind while he was in your care.

  Both my boys attend /attended Shinning Light Montessori. My eldest just graduated and is now excelling in piblic school. The education, love and care he recieved there was beyond what we expected. All the teachets went above and beyond in his care and he left with a soild foundation that has set him up well for public school. Their focus on reading and writing comes thru in his success but more importantly they focus on the whole child. My son knows hygein and manners and the communication skills that I believe are so important, especially in grade school.
  
  My yongest is currently there and he is receiving the same care and support. As much as this is a school it feels like a second home. The parent-teacher communication is amazing and these teachers take the time and make the effort to bond and connect with each family. Their individuality to each family's needs is what makes them extra special.
