ACE Art Studio

I would highly recommend ACE art school. My daughter enjoyed classes and improved her painting skills a lot. Katia is an amazing teacher- encouraging, knowledgeable and supportive.

I’m so happy that my son attends this great art school. Since he started in Ace he was able to prepare his portfolio and got accepted into Westmount Art Program. He is constantly improving his skills. What I like most about Ace is that my son is surrounded by serious and hardworking students , guided by a very talented and devoted teacher Katya. This school has very high standards and it is a perfect place for someone who sees himself as an animator or illustrator in the future!

Katia is a great teacher! I was able to improve a great amount after I started attending classes and I was really pushed to create better artworks. I was also given the ability to experiment with different mediums I have never used before. The environment is very friendly and supportive as a majority of the people attending are all trying to reach the same goal of getting into an art school. I would recommend this for any artists wanting to improve their artwork and build a portfolio!

The classes here are great! The teacher is really friendly and tries to get to know the level that you’re at before rushing into something that’s too hard. They do a variety too, realistic and cartoon. And helps with portfolios for college. A lot of the people that come here have gotten into Sheridan or other animation programs and have really cool portfolios. So she knows how to tell if you’re ready yet. All in all I would recommend here even if you want to get better at art, The students are really friendly and are easy to talk to and chat with.

I took animation portfolio classes this year. Thanks to the portfolio I built with Katya’s guidance, I finally got in to Sheridan animation! Katya’s a great teacher. She’s encouraging, and attentive. She teaches layout, perspective, character design, composition; all specific animation knowledge. This is absolutely essential for a portfolio! Thanks to Katya, I stayed positive, on track, and on time. If you love art, practice all the time, and see yourself in art career, then classes are the first step.
