My almost 4 year old has been attending Safari Kid’s Saturday Chinese School since 18 months. We make an effort to only speak Cantonese at home, but I also want my son to have proper learning on how to write Chinese and to learn to speak Mandarin as well. Safari Kid was referred to me, and I have referred couple friends since then.

Initially I decided on Safari Kid mainly because of the schedule and location. I put him there for 4.5 hours which includes both Cantonese, Mandarin, Art (Music when he was younger) and he can have his lunch there. Most Chinese Saturday School I came across does not offer program that last 4.5 hours for his age.

Throughout the years, I have grown to really like Safari Kid. First, my son loves going there. He loves the teachers (esp Teacher Margaret, also Teacher Rain and Teacher Angel for their care when he was only 18 months) and most importantly he is learning. Safari Kid definitely helped my son to gain more interest to learn and speak Mandarin!

Plus I like Sarafi Kid’s flexibility and transparency. Thanks to Ammy to be very accommodating, always keeping us in the loop on what’s happening during classes, and always respond to our questions and concerns right away. The open communications with the parents are one main reasons for me to keep sending my son there.

It is not a glamorous, huge facility. But the teachers, the management, the program is what makes Safari Kid Leslie location stands out! I highly recommend the Saturday Chinese School program.

Since pandemic we couldn’t attend Safari, and finally he is back there! He couldn’t be happier to see the teachers again and he has so much to tell me after picking him up! Thanks to Ammy, Teacher Margaret and all the teachers there!

My 4 year old son really enjoyed spending summer camp here (Leslie/hwy 7) as well as Saturday Chinese class. The objective was for him to learn to speak some Chinese and I was impressed at how much he picked up. The centre is clean, organized, and the staff are friendly and professional. Thumbs up!

my son attended the summer camp . The school is very clean, especially during the pandemic. This is very important. I like their Chinese class and multiplication table learning. Especially thanks to teacher Amy, she is very patient, and she will take pictures and send to parents ,let us know the school life.

My son enrolled in Safari school in 2019. Since then, he enjoys going to school every day. The teachers there are responsibility, and environment is good. Thanks to their learning program, Now my son can speak both English and Chinese very good. Besides, teachers arrange so many activities for my son every day, including drawing, handcrafts, reading story books and so on. I think my son have a great time there. Thanks Safari so much!

My son is enrolled with Safari Kid after school program. I am deeply hurt and very disappointed that you have labelled my child in such manner. We live in Canada and all daycare centers in Canada are required to not discriminate but to respect and care all kinds of children. My son may have special needs but so far he has never hurt a single child. I am glad for you that your children are healthy and have no medical concerns, but on behalf of all parents who are dealing with this matter every day just like me , this is a very insensitive approach that you have and I hope you will change your manner and show respect to people who suffer from special needs, and teach the same to your children.

I am happy that Safari Kid has taken the effort to arrange a support staff and tried their level best to help my child. I have my family children enrolled in other programs in this campus. We love the teachers and have no concerns with the facility. Thank you to Safari Kid team of teachers and management for helping us and taking such good care of our children.

I have approached many after school programs and most of them are not comfortable with providing shuttle transportation and if they do we parents cannot afford it. I can understand why they do not want to offer this as this is a big headache and not something they would like to get involved with. I appreciate Safari Kid providing this convenience to us parents at an affordable price and their staff are very caring and friendly with our children always accommodating parents needs and concerns.
