(August 3, 2022, 3:20 pm)Training under this instructor takes you back to the days of those highschool sports team practices where you'd look up to and respect the coach while he motivates and inspires you to push yourself to your limits. He's got a passion for Japanese Jiu Jitsu that is unmatched. It's been an honour to train under Kiyoshi Neil Dalgarno for over a decade and I'd encourage anyone who's even curious, to definitely try a month and see how he pulls out the resilient warrior spirit you may have within.

I felt extremely welcome and would 10/10 recommend for anyone begining their journey and for those who are more experienced. Very family oriented as well with a great atmosphere.

(August 2, 2022, 4:49 pm)I have been training at this physical location since I was in highschool back in 1998. This place has been my home for a very long time now. The beautiful, spacious facilities attracted me to the Dojo, but it was the teachings and mentorship of Sensei Neil Dalgarno (today wearing the title of Kyoshi) who kept me inspired to continue training and even start teaching my own group of incredible students. I’ve trained in various Martial Arts throughout my life, but what makes him stand out as an instructor is how he encourages me to go out and learn as much as I can, rather than try to trap me within our school or try to guilt me into “loyalty” like you might find in some other Dojos. He doesn’t ever “tell” you what to do, but rather leads by example and brings out the best in us. Kyoshi Neil forever has my respect and there is no doubt about bringing future generations to learn under him. A fantastic Martial Arts instructor with a wealth of experience, and a true leader.

(August 2, 2022, 3:00 pm)I have been training under Kyoshi Neil for many years now and I highly recommend his Jiu Jitsu classes. I love the combination of the traditional Japanese art and the self defense aspect of the training. Kyoshi Neil is a great instructor and cares about his students.
