Glamour Nail Lounge

This is by far one of the best nail salons in All GTA/Toronto highly recommend coming here and highly recommend doing the acrylic if you’re on a budget. The acrylic at this salon is very good quality and does not damage the nail as some people say about acrylic. Overall great place, clean and very nice staff. Bio gel is also very nice if you want to spend a bit more money and are worried about your nails.

I've been going to Glamour Nail Lounge for almost 2 years now - after going to numerous nail salons who just make you feel like another customer, I will never go anywhere other than Glamour again. Kathy has been doing my nails ever since I started going and she exceeds my expectations every time. She goes above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied before leaving the salon and always makes me feel like family. The ladies at the salon always go out of their way to say hello to me and it makes the experience at the nail salon that much more enjoyable. As a person who has been doing their nails regularly for over 8 years now, I've developed an attachment to Glamour and I now look forward to getting my nails done and I also look forward to seeing all of the friendly faces at the salon. I've recommended this nail salon to many of my peers and to which I've heard nothing but good things from. I appreciate all of Kathy's - as well as all of the talented nail techs at Glamour - hard work and dedication to amazing service. All aspects of this nail salon surpass any other nail salon I've been to - cleanliness, great prices, and such talented and friendly nail techs. Great place! I've already booked another appointment for a pedicure. I've been disappointed by so many salons in Markham, but Glamour will now be my go-to. They get the job done right but I gave only 4 stars because I did run into some issues during my first appointment. I called ahead and made an appointment for a few hours later. I show up and was told that they could not find me in the system but could take me any way. It wouldn't have been a problem if they were too busy to take me because I live fairly close and could just go home. But if you live far away, I suggest calling to confirm before you come in. After I went home, I realized there were some discrepancies with the prices I was given in the salon. I was first told a bio gel fill was $55 when it is listed as $35 on the website. When the nail tech realized that I actually did not have bio gel on, she suggested a full set at $65 (website $50) but another nail tech corrected her and said an overlay was $55 (website $45). I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that it was a new nail tech that mixed up the prices or with the price of the overlay, it was for something additional I didn't realize like removal of the previous gel (I didn't have fake nails). But my advice is to make sure you check out their costs on their website before going. Other than that, I liked my nail tech, she didn't speak much which I preferred and she was very attentive to detail. I smudged my nails a few times and heard her tell the nail tech next to her but she didn't seem angry or super annoyed.
