Design by Teresa

It's our great pleasure working with Teresa on our little house renovation and furniture selections project. I couldn't imagine how this renovation would be done on time right before holiday season without Teresa's help. She is a very dedicate and professional interior designer, with a lot of passion about her job. As a designer, she has a great aesthetic sense, but most importantly, a great listener and is able to understand what we really want .It's so easy to communicate with her throughout the project and sometimes I even feel like she can read my mind. She is always very patient with our back and forth questions, and gives us a quick response as soon as possible (even though it's late night).

Given our relatively tight schedule, and limited budget, she is able to come up with brilliant designs that having a great balance between "looking fancy " and "being practical", so that we don't need to compromise too much. She even includes some little details that we would never think about during the closet design for free. Those small details turn out to make day to day life so much easier.

Teresa also helps us a lot on furniture selection. During the furniture /material shopping, She is always well-prepared, and is able to make sure every piece is good fit for the entire design with a bigger picture in mind. Since Teresa has been in this interior design industry for years, she knows and even has connections with so many furniture/tile stores that we won't able to find by ourselves, which saves us a lot of time, and even provides us some great discounts on some furnitures.

We 're very satisfied with her work, and can't wait to work with her again in the future if we need any further house renovations. Highly recommend Teresa to anyone who is overwhelmed about house interior design.

We had a pleasure working with Teresa who helped us design our basement and provided ideas for furniture and lighting for our new home. Teresa is very professional and passionate about her job. She pays attention to details in materials, shape, color, cost and practicality and makes sure everything matches what we want. She is a great listener and she is always patient with our questions (even at late night!) and tries to accommodate all our needs. I couldn't imagine how my new house renovation would be done without Teresa's help. I never did a 'real' house renovation before. Although I know it won't be easy, I didn't expect it to be overwhelming. The reality is if you want to achieve the best results within a reasonable price range, and want to save (tons of ) time and efforts, go hire a professional designer - I am so happy to have Teresa to be my designer for my little project.

My friend recommended Teresa, and she said I won't regret. It turns out word-by-mouth never let me down. Teresa has a great aesthetics sense and knows what is trending on the market, but more importantly, she spent time with me and my family to understand what we need/like rather than forcing us with what is popular now. Based on what we want, she always made good suggestions about what else we should do, or what we should re-consider, and why. Also, her design takes a good balance between 'looking good' and 'being practical'. This is particularly true when she designed my relatively small kitchen area.

Sometimes we just focus on things isolated, but Teresa has the bigger picture and ensures everything are integrated and harmonized for the whole design. When I shopped for big things (like marble for kitchen) or small things (like lights or door knobs), she always let us know if it is a good match with the floor color or maybe it is not a good fit for the entire style.

I am sure Teresa has been in this industry for many years, so she knows many good stores for tile/floor/light/furniture and has access to things that we (or many other people) won't be able to find by ourselves. This is critical especially when you hope to have at least a few places in your house that are outstanding and unique.

Of course Teresa is always polite and punctual. I truely appreciate your help, and hopefully I can have you to be my designer for the next project (not sure when though - let me enjoy my sweet new house for now)!

Teresa designed my basement a couple of years ago. I was amazed by her perfections, innovative design ideas and uniqueness of her design, and her enthusiasm and the love of her job impressed me again and again. She is a great listener and so easy to work with. This time, I invited her back to design my whole house. I look forward to working with her again.
