(July 3, 2022, 2:53 pm)I was driving through Newmarket yesterday (Saturday of a long weekend) in the middle of a 2 hour trip with my family when we detected a burning plastic smell - which turned out to be coming from an overheated wheel/seized brake caliper. I called many auto repair shops, all of which were either closed or didn't answer. We were stranded and out of options. Finally, a fine gentleman (I think his name may be Francis?) answered the phone and agreed to meet me at his shop which turned out to be only a few minutes from where we were stopped. Incredibly, after disassembling the caliper and applying penetrating oil, he was able to get it working again. We took it on a test drive and confirmed it was working properly. After spending the better part of an hour getting us back on the road - he didn't even want any money for his above and beyond services! He just wished us a good trip! Wow...Francis (I hope that is your name!) - you are an angel. He even texted me later to check on how the brakes were performing (they were still fine). Easily the most honest and generous mechanic I have ever dealt with - and I have dealt with a great number over the decades. Amazing person!

(March 27, 2021, 3:56 am)Francis performed a vehicle safety on my SUV, replaced an exhaust pipe on my car, swapped out my winter tires, and repaired a leaking tire sensor all within 24hrs of taking my call. Quality service with a smile at a very reasonable rate. Francis will now be my first choice.
