(October 3, 2021, 10:42 pm)Delivery was good. But even healthy food when left in the fridge for 6 days can be no longer so healthy (and tasty). Portion is small compared to what you would get elsewhere for the same price.

(October 2, 2021, 4:17 pm)We have been eating these meals now for 6 week. They are delicious and healthy. The staff are amazing and will accommodate any food preferences. Being able to simply heat up these meals each night has reduced our stress greatly and ensures we are all eating healthy balanced meals. I highly recommend Healthy Alternatives.

(July 26, 2021, 8:50 pm)So far we've tried LiveFit, Yumba, WeCook...Healthy Alternative is truly the best healthy alternative food delivery option we've found so far (especially for their vegan options) that is both reasonable price-wise and tastes delicious (without a lot of the unsavoury ingredients you'll find in other "healthy" food delivery...ahem...corn syrup...).
I can't believe I actually WANT to order their salads - they're that good. I've also ordered meat options and they were great too.
So far we've had the following meals, obviously some we preferred over others, but overall, very impressed. Also a big plus is the presentation:

- Salmon & Lemon Dill Caper Aioli Sauce with Quinoa

The only reason why I've given them 4 stars is because I wish their ordering system was more clearly explained and user friendly on the website because I had to call/email them a couple times to figure out how to do it.
Just a heads up, it's a food subscription, they offer a first time delivery discount code, call them and ask for it. You order a plan through the website then they email you the weekly menu options. They also offer some wiggle room in the delivery dates, which is awesome. Also, free delivery, yay!!
I also wish they offered more non-soy vegan options, but still love that they offer delicious vegan options. As a side note, I've really loved their salad dressings & sauces so far (particular YUM to their tzatziki or aioli sauces). I'm not sure if there are ingredient lists available for the sauces as well? I wish being able to find/see the ingredients of everything (including sauces) during the menu selection process was easier...
Definitely worth a try if you're trying to find a delicious and healthy food delivery option! -

A friend had referred me to another meal delivery service but it was one of those that gave you the groceries and the recipe. As a vegetarian, their options seemed limited and I didn't see the value in receiving a bag of pasta and some veggies for the price they were charging, plus I still had to prep and cook it.
So I did a little research and finally found Healthy Alternative.
We are so happy with this decision. The meals are excellent. The fact that they are prepared fresh and not frozen is very important to us. The portion sizes are perfect. Not too much, not too little. The variety is amazing. After a month of meals I don't think we've had a repeat. The flavour is excellent. The side sauces are great.
I take the add-on salads for my work lunches and they are also excellent and full of variety. The homemade dressings are super tasty.
