My husband and I were lucky enough to find and secure EventMrkt for our June 2022 wedding, after having to cancel our original September 2020 wedding (at a different venue) due to Covid 19. To say that EventMrkt went above and beyond for us is an understatement. We knew it was the place for us when we met Grant (a total rockstar). It’s family run and full of extremely hard workers. Sam and Kaitlyn, you ladies made our literal day! From planning, to meetings, to execution - you both worked so hard to make sure that every single detail of our day was perfect. I have worked in the wedding industry for over ten years, so I have seen every kind of team dynamic, wedding package, menu and everything in between. These ladies exceeded ALL of my high expectations. Their staff were so organized, friendly and genuinely invested in making sure that our guests were taken care of. Chef Michael and his team put out the most delicious food! My guests are still raving about all of the options and how they just kept getting better. Even the sandwich platter that he put out earlier during our family photos was incredible. EventMrkt has everything you could want in an event venue. Sleek decor, flexible packages, a beautiful view of the waterfall which is walking distance to fairy lake (more photo opportunities), a cool photo booth and most importantly a phenomenal staff. That team is a dream!!! Thank you EventMrkt for giving us the perfect wedding day.

STRESS FREE! We got married at EVENTMRKT this summer and I can’t recommended it enough! From the first meeting with Kaitlyn everything just seemed easy. The venue is very intimate and the outdoor space makes downtown Newmarket feel very private. The food was amazing! Chef Michael made it very hard to pick our menu, everything tasted so good. We went with the micro package and the team of vendors they work with went beyond our expectations. We had the perfect day and we really hope one of our friends gets married here so we can go back! We would give them more than 5 stars if we could.The team is incredible - so thoughtful and sweet, we felt truly special and not just another client or event.

The space is stunning, we booked the wedding package with venue/food/bar/staff, coordinator, DJ, officiant and florals so we didn’t have to worry about a thing - these vendors are all incredible and work so well together, we didn’t worry about a thing. Our wedding was only a week ago but we’ve already heard rave reviews from our guests and every single one has mentioned how amazing the food is and how attentive the staff were.

The space is small enough to feel intimate but large enough that there’s room to spread out - my husband and I were on the dance floor all night, but some guests were in different areas to have conversations and all had a great time.

We feel so lucky to have found EVENTMRKT early in our wedding planning and would recommend the venue and staff for any event - we’ll be using them for any events in the future. They made us feel so special, we truly love this venue and everyone who works there.

We had our wedding at Eventmrkt a couple of months ago. It was absolutely incredible. The event space at Eventmrkt is special for many reasons. The design makes for a gorgeous backdrop, the terrace and patio that opens to the space makes for such an enjoyable and intimate gathering, the food is divine and the the people (Kaitlyn and Sam) that run the show are amazing. You truly feel like family when you have your wedding here and they do everything they can to make it an experience for everyone. The day went flawless because of everyone involved that helped execute it. People are still talking about our wedding and how it is the best one they have been too! As a queer couple this is such an inclusive space so if you are also searching for a venue that you know will be safe and accepting, this is the place to go. I recently had my Bridal Shower at EVENTMRKT. I cannot begin to put into words how incredible my experience was. From our first meeting with Sam at our site visit, we immediately felt like family. Sam was informative, fair and personable. To Sam, to Kaitlyn, Chef Michael and the whole staff...WOW. You are all hard working and professional. My guests have not stopped raving about the food, experience and staff! My bridal shower was one of the best nights of my life...thanks to all of you. Until the next event! Cheers
