  I went to their clinic a couple of weeks ago as I started to suffer from a loss of vision on my left .That was my first time and I was very concerned about the condition of my eye when I was seen and examined by Dr. Katie Chan. Her gentle words made me well at ease during the series of thorough testing, explaining everything very clearly to me before referring me to a specialist. I mentioned to her afterwards that my very limited minimal overall cash insurance coverage at the private school (where I work as a kindergarten Montessori teacher) is already used up plus the salary at private school is not really that great and will greatly appreciate any consideration concerning the fees. She, with a compassionate heart, reduced my fees considerably which I greatly appreciated. I saw her again yesterday just for consultation and for second opinion and she willingly and wholeheartedly helped out. I have not met Dr. Fan personally but what I can tell is that she has an amazing team and as the saying goes -birds of the same feather flock together - Dr. Chan and Kelly (the receptionist and office person) are both incredibly warm and helpful people. If you are an intuitive person like me, you will discern that they are for real with their customer and client care. I greatly encourage you to visit and even just check them out for a short conversation or inquiry and you will sense the atmosphere and relate to what I am sharing with you right now. - Jaime B.

  She’s very knowledgeable and professional. Recently, I was hit in the eye by a soccer ball, so she referred me to SunnyBrooke and I got a great follow up for my vision.

  Dr. Fan is very patient and thorough when she's doing the tests. She is very knowledgeable, and puts you through different stages of tests until she finds the problem with your vision.

  My husband and I were in for our appointments a couple of weeks ago. Thanks again to Dr Fan for her courteous and patient attitude and terrific service. Dr. Fan is always thorough when doing our check ups. The previous year our son had an issue with his eyes which Dr. Fan detected and referred him to a specialist for further investigation. Our family have been her patients since she opened her office in Thornhill Square. Having a knowledgeable doctor in her profession is very important. Highly recommend Dr. Fan.
