Emmanuel's board and train program has been life changing and has improved all aspects of our every day life with our dog Mayo. Before the program, Mayo had major biting/aggression and reactivity issues. We have tried hiring a personal trainer and went through classes at PetSmart, but they were not very helpful. We were in a rushed desperate situation and Emmanuel kindly squeezed a spot in for us. After the 4-week program, we still have to keep up the training consistently to ensure Mayo's good behavior sticks, however Emmanuel has laid down a very strong foundation of discipline and greatly improved Mayo's anxiety and reactivity issues. Even after the program, Emmanuel answers all our questions and is always willing to help. We appreciated the video updates every few days as it helped us feel confident that she was in good hands. We highly recommend Emmanuel to anyone who needs help with their fur babies.

Emmanuel was first introduced to me through a few neighbors on my street who had very positive experiences with his dog training. After talking to Emmanuel and his initial evaluation of our dog Rio, I knew that he would be a great fit. Emmanuel helped us become better owners, as well as helped Rio (and continues to help) become a more obedient dog. The positive comments that everyone had seemed to help ease our worries about the board & train as we had a bad experience with our previous dog, with a different trainer years ago.

We got Rio as a puppy right near the beginning for the COVID-19 pandemic and as such she, like many dogs, lacked some of the socialization and obedience training we desperately needed. During Rio’s 3 week stay with Emmanuel, she learned crucial skills and obedience that helped us tackle some of her more problematic behaviors like minor reactivity, excessive barking, and her nervousness. Emmanuel taught us how to help her in specific situations that we had trouble with such as issues with dogs next door, not settling/barking with strangers in the house, as well as obedience and proper loose leash walking. Since returning home, Rio has been much calmer in general, she doesn’t try to lunge at strangers, and rarely even barks at people passing by our home. We still have work to do as owners (which Emmanuel was always very upfront about what our expectations should be) but we're much less anxious and more relieved to have a pathway to success.

Even weeks after Rio’s stay, Emmanuel still checks in unprompted to see how things are progressing and always offers advice. Since our first interaction, he has always displayed professionalism and has responded so quickly to every question and concern. I would highly recommend Emmanuel for any dog training need, no matter how big or small.

Emmanuel truly is a dog whisperer! He is very knowledgeable and passionate in canine training. His experience helped us break down the communication barrier we had with Kobe, our 1.5 year old golden retriever.

Prior to the Board and Train, Kobe was a wild spirited golden retriever. We were having issues with leash pulling, attention barking, separation anxiety, minimum impulse control, overly excited with other dogs. Emmanuel worked with him for three weeks and kept us updated on the progress thru training videos sent on a regular basis, which we really appreciated. Kobe seemed really happy doing the training routine. Emmanuel took good care of him and Kobe likes him a lot (as you can see from the pictures).

After only three weeks, we noticed a big improvement in Kobe's behaviour. He returned home an obedient and focused good boy: way less anxious when left alone, much better on the leash and more engaged during walks, calmer in general, better recall. The most important part of the training was getting us equipped with the tools and skills needed to succeed. Emmanuel provided us continued support and guidance in this ongoing journey.

Thank you Emmanuel and the Benridge Canine Services team for the hard work you put into training Kobe. We truly appreciate and we will definitely work with you again witbout hesitation.

Emmanuel is amazing! Our dog Maddy started to show aggression towards my husband and children. We worked with behaviourists, we tried training classes, and even medication but nothing worked. As heart breaking as it was going to be, I thought we were going to have to rehome her. Thankfully I was introduced to Emmanuel. Maddy stayed with Emmanuel for a 3 week board and train and the results are unbelievable. She has returned home a much more well-mannered and obedient dog. After the 3 weeks, Emmanuel took the time to work with my family to make sure we successfully continue the training at home. Maddy has been improving so much and I am so thankful that she is still a part of our family. Thank you Emmanuel!

When we got Joey at 8 weeks old and we quickly realized he had a hearing issue. Joey is an Australian Cattle Dog with lots of energy. We tried traditional training with him but the fact that he was deaf made it very difficult to get the consistency we were looking for. We reached out to Emmanuel for some help. At 9 months old Joey went for a two week board and train program The results were amazing. Emmanuel was able to work with him on some simple hand signals. He then spent some time with us to help us improve the consistency of the training and shape Joey's behavior. We are so grateful to have his help. We would highly recommend his services.
