Nice place for a stop photo stop. Not much to do since you cannot walk onto the rocks to go to the lighthouse and the accessible area is pretty small in general, but it’s a nice spot to enjoy the outdoors if you want to just take some photos. There’s a parking lot but is paid parking, but if you are just making a 5 min stop or so, you can probably skip paying because the area is small and you’ll be within seconds of walking distance to your car anyway.

Not really a destination per se. There is a look out point, probably nice to check out if you’re in the area. However parking near here, Bonnie Park and the access to the lookout are closed due to covid (as of July 31, 2020 - was unable to visit)

    5. Photograph - This photograph displays the first unique Lake Simcoe's lakefront cottage on Malone Road which is a stone's throw from Malone's Wharf. This historic abode has a wooden placard which reads as follows: "Jacksons Point." Its lettering is so faded due to the passage of time. Two photographs of varying light intensities could not clarify its legibility.

At some point there was an operative invisible fence in order that there be no trespassers. This methodology is traditionally employed to keep dogs from roaming off one's property by apply a slight electrical charge. It is no longer operational.

This building is extremely wide that minimally three frames would be required to fully include the entirety of this property. Part of the reason is because as one steps backwards there is only a narrow road and behind one's back are tall, humungous assorted trees impeding the ability to have its entirety in one frame.

Unfortunately, this lakefront cottage has fallen into disrepair. Most likely it will never be offered for sale which is sad. Due to the weather conditions especially the harsh wintertime, the searing sunlight combined with climate change a vast amount of money would be required to bring it back to its former glory. Taking into consideration, the building's land value and location, it is irreplaceable. In its current state it is a worthy site to behold. Its surroundings are a priceless treasure‼️

The menacing "Wombat-like" animal is perched above a sleek boathouse with a spine-chilling replica of its moniker. It is adjacent to Malone Wharf and within its sight is Jackson’s Point Harbour. It is maintained to perfection with a well planned entrance. It is believed that the foreboding wombat's purpose is to keep out curious onlookers. It has frequently been wondered what the experience of living in such an abode feels like to its inhabitants, as well as, the uninitiated.

Never a disappointment to stand down here and reflect on the beauty of life.
