(November 25, 2021, 2:01 am)We hired Alair Aurora/Newmarket to do a very complex renovation / addition to our home. Alair has been up to the challenge every step of the way. They have been easy to work with throughout the whole process. Jason and our project manager Ben are very responsive. As with any renovation, there were bumps along the way, but Alair always found a way to fix issues to our satisfaction. We are happy with their trades and the workmanship thus far. We would highly recommend using them as your builder!

(July 15, 2021, 10:53 pm)I worked with Alair to demo and build a detached garage. Because my house is older, there were bylaw issues and a minor variance was needed to get a larger garage. A minor variance + COVID delays could have made for a painful process, but Alair made it a smooth and enjoyable process. Not only did I have a beautiful outcome, but the process was easy and stress free for me. Alair took care of absolutely everything - including the minor variance process. We are so thrilled with the garage and have had multiple neighbours compliment their work. Thank you to Alex & Jason in particular for being the true dream team!

(November 30, 2020, 3:44 pm)Alair Homes were terrific to work with. It was a real team collaboration between my wife and me and Alair Homes. I admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but when I saw it all come to together with the attention to detail and their genuine care for the job and our happiness I was convinced that this is the only way to do house renovations. It was not a worry at all and everyone of our friends that we told of our experience were very surprised that a renovation was carefree like it was.
I like the way the website is set up to review our job, with precise dates, costs and how we reviewed them on a very regular bases. Every item that was to be installed, every subtrade that came in, was exactly as scheduled.
Then there was our Project Manager Ben. He was awesome with his can-do attitude. He paid attention to every details from keeping our place super clean and organized during the process, it was gratifying to see. Ben went thru the schedule with us weekly and kept us updated regularly on any changes. He was meticulous with making sure we were satisfied with every detail.
Overall, the experience as remarkable. We always knew what we were getting, when we were getting it and there was never a surprise on costs. Even when we changed our minds on a design piece (in our case added an extra long beam and opened up the house more), it was not a big deal with Alair and Ben and they had it done right away.

Full transparency on the budget vs actuals plus weekly status meetings minimized the stress that usually comes with a reno.
Our Project Manager, Ben, was a joy to work with & always kept us in the loop.
An exceptional company & wonderful people to work with.
