  Today was my first visit to this little gem of a store which also happened to be on their annual open house. The variety of products was great, reasonably priced and the staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Because it was their open house they had coffee and treats for everyone, 10% off and I even got a free gift (pattern, aida and thread) with my purchase.

  I've known about this little gem for years, and enjoy my visits. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and this is very helpful when you are having difficulty with a particular project, or trying something new.
  The selection of fabric is amazing, and Kathrin and her staff always serge the edges of my project pieces, which makes my stitiching that much more enjoyable. I remember when Gitta was in the store, and still enjoy browsing through her patterns, especially for petit point patterns.
  I have ordered on-line from Gitta's, and find that their turn around time can be quite slow, compared to other on-line resources. I continue to shop here though because I believe in supporting local, small business who offer value to the community.

  It’s stitchers’ paradise! I don’t know why such store is so rare here in Ontario. They have unlimited supply of wonderful patterns and other stitching needs! Kathrin, the owner of the store, is so kind and friendly. She patiently helped me decide on the tools that I would need and they are good quality.
