I just bought a puppy few months ago. Didn’t know the AbCs of training a dog, I found siv on kijiji. he has been a life saver. My puppy was instantly attracted to siv. He learned to sit within the first day. Learned his name as time progressed and so far the training has been going great. siv has always been a text away if I ever needed any assistance. He is a well mannered, punctual assertive and effective trainer.

We actually got our very first dog, a German shepherd by the name of Zuko, a couple months back. Lucky for us, Siv immediately made a difference in our dogs life and ours. Siv is epitome of professional as he goes beyond just the session, he routinely checked up to ensure everything was going well and to make sure we were dealing well with our new furry friend. He not only effectively trained Zuko, but he taught us what to do as a family to help him and us. He ensured we learnt about establishing boundaries so his training would continue beyond just our session. I’m really happy with the service Siv provided us and would definitely recommend him to anyone I know.

Our dog Sparky struggled when I had to go back to work in September (after working from home for 6 months)- he started to develop behaviours that were not pleasant during our walks which he has never exhibited before. We got in contact with Siv from Perceptive K9 and began working with him right away. Since Sparky was a stray rescue, we have decided to work from the basics of leash manners and work our way up. We've had our ups and downs when we were on our own, however Siv was amazing at connecting with us in between our sessions to offer support and suggestions. He is also flexible with his sessions and never pushed for a weekly session. He understands that sometimes we just need an extra week to work on the skills and other times we are ready to move on. I am also appreciative how he not only helped trained Sparky, but also helps us understand how our subtle behaviours or tones affect how the dogs sees us as their pack leaders. Sparky is definitely a changed dog since we have started training with Siv. We are currently on a quick break (because it's cold out as well as the stay at home orders) but we look forward to working with him shortly to tackle on a new challenge which is to Sparky become the best foster brother to our foster dogs!

Awesome trainer!! Truly provided the right support and guidance for our goldendoodle puppy. Gave us the correct tips and tricks to manage our high-energy pup. Highly professional and quick to respond, set up class times and provide situational advice. Very friendly towards our pup and connected with her naturally. Highly recommend!
