Everyone at LUSO is very warm, caring, kind, patient, fun, supportive, approachable, compassionate, encouraging, competent, professional, accommodating and sincere. They have such a warm, welcoming, well-organized and clean environment that gives me the peace of mind that my son is having fun and is safe and well taken cared of while at the program. He attends the online program and the in-person program at the Mississauga site and he loves them both! Every day, both in-person and online, has a theme and we're given a monthly calendar for in-person and a weekly one for virtual. They do arts and crafts, dancing, yoga, bingo days, game days, themed days (holidays) and fun life lessons where they’re able to learn while having fun.

They have a very big (an entire building) and well-designed facility that is spacious and very clean as they have a very strict sanitizing system. They have a sensory room, computer area, library, theatre area, sufficient number of washrooms and even a nicely-designed rooftop where they can do gardening activities or even exercises during warmer weather.

And whenever you have any queries or concerns, you can always contact their program supervisor, Mrs. Correia and she will get back to you immediately. She is very approachable, accommodating, professional, understanding and kind. She runs a tight ship in a very good way and you can tell they have a very well-organized system and it works!

I am so thankful that we found this wonderful place ran by a team of “angels” where our son can thrive in and be a part of a loving and caring community.

A very warm and welcoming home for persons coming with any disabilities. My son found the staff, volunteers so much full of life and eager to help and share so much with everyone. A memorable experience and as a parent I can trust Luso to take proper care of my son and having that peace of mind was most important. Thanks all associated with Luso.

My brother and I are very thankful to Luso CCS . Luso is the happiest place on earth for people with all kinds of disabilities .I wholeheartedly recommend it to parents and caregivers . I am a sister not a parent and I love my brother to the moon. Seeing him so happy every time he leaves the house to go meet with his friends and participate in all the activities Luso offers warms my heart.
Luso is the the process of building a long term place so people like my brother will transition to in case parents or caregivers cannot look after them anymore.
Now…as I am getting older and worry about what’s in store for my brother as he too is getting older,I pray that if I should go before him he has a place to call home at Luso.
