(August 26, 2015, 9:44 pm)We purchased leather for our dining room chairs at Perfect Leather Goods on King Street in Toronto. Knowing that special skills are necessary, we asked if they could reccomend an upholsterer. New Hope Upholstering was recommended. Garnet did an excellent job of reupholstering the seats & backs. He also repaired the stripped wood screw holes in the seats. He completed the work (6 seats + 6 backs) in less than two weeks at a very fair price. I suggest stopping by for your upholstery needs!

I moved into a new suite in Toronto and on moving day discovered that my sofa would not fit through the front door. It was then suggested to me that I have my sofa made into a sectional. My Mum had seen Garnet on Colin and Justin previously and recommended I call. Garnet was extremely accommodating from the start. His shop closes at 6, but he waited until 9p for my sofa to arrive, as the movers couldn't deliver it any sooner. It was over the Easter weekend, but true to his word, Garnet followed up with me the next day regarding a quote. To ensure quality and workmanship, Garnet does all of the work himself. Splitting my sofa into 2 and then painstakingly hand stitching it back together. I know another reviewer complained about the prices at New Hope Upholstery, however, I found the quote very reasonable. Indeed, New Hope Upholstery offers exceptional quality and gave my sofa "New Hope".
