She is very patient and understand each of her student abilities and she find ways to motivate each of her students to try their best. Evelyn is a great teacher for beginner and advance students. My oldest son completed Level 9 RCM and my youngest is still taking classes and they love it.

(October 17, 2021, 5:20 am)Evelyn taught me while I was learning Levels 8-10 RCM. My situation was a bit unique, as I was an adult trying to learn piano and even though I was at Level 8, I did not have a strong technical foundation. Within just months of taking lessons with her, I saw great improvement in my technique. I believe I improved much more quickly than I would've without her teaching. She offered great insights into how to improve on my weaknesses that no one had ever taught me before. She also pushed me to do my best while being understanding when I made mistakes, and she offered highly motivational advice!

(October 12, 2021, 1:17 pm)Evelyn is a great comprehensive teacher who pushes her students to their utmost potential. She is very patient and will do what she can to help you learn and retain the information necessary for recitals and exams alike. Once you show an interest in an artist or genre, she really takes that in stride to make learning fun. My experience with her was very memorable, and I still play some of the songs that she introduced to me.
