I had a successful surgery back in December 2018 with Dr. Kapala to remove my pilonidal cyst.
From the moment I was told I had a pilonidal cyst that would need to be removed surgically, I met with multiple surgeons (first impressions were horrific) and did my own online research looking for the best treatment and surgeon. After 1 year of living in pain and still unable to find a surgeon I was comfortable with, I found myself in the ER. My body couldn't handle anymore of the pilonidal cyst and it was clear as day that it was time to have it removed. The ER referred me to Dr. Kapala and I was seen a few days later for a consult.
The moment I met Dr. Kapala she was smiling, had a calm energy, even though her schedule was filled. She took her time and educated me on the pilonidal cyst and explained the removal option and recovery timeline and requirements. All my questions and concerns were answered and Surgery was booked.
Dr. Kapala's surgical team is fantastic. They ensured I was comfortable and they kept me smiling. They truly know how to calm anxious patients.
I recommend anyone and everyone to be treated by Dr. Kapala, she is expierenced, humble, compassionate and will treat you like family. She truly cares about her patient's and is an amazing Surgeon.
