This program is the best, my 6 year old boy and 9 year old girl did have alot of fun yesterday, as for me as a parent it was a great experience seeing both of my kids helping each around the kitchen. It give me more courage to start involving my kids in the kitchen while I'm cooking. Thanks cooksmart.

Wonderful classes! My three kids have done many (10+) during the last year, and I've seen Kathy's professionalism (in terms of eliminating any tech issues and making the zoom class rules clear to everyone, etc) increase significantly. We've done cooking, baking, making fruit rollups and homemade ice-cream, with great results - and even if any mistakes are ever made, everything gets eaten anyway and the kids feel an enormous pride in their ability to create and in the creations. Kathy's ability to bring cooking to a simple/kid level is amazing, as is her patience in answering all of the kids questions. As well, I really appreciate the flexibility with the recipes (use whatever fruit you have, use butter or oil, regular milk or soy milk, etc) - that makes it easy to the parent when gathering the ingredients, as well as less stressful for the sometimes anxious kids (omg we only have strawberries and not raspberries thaf the recipe calls for, so I can't make it and the day is ruined). It also allows - and encourages - the kids to make the thing "their own" - I don't think my three kids ever made the same thing! If one adds raisins, the other must do chocolate chips, and the third one makes a savoury thing with cheese. One adds sausage to the pizza, the other olives, and the third one does cheese only - it's all sort of a creative, friendly competition. Definitely recommend!

I wanted to write to thank you for such a great experience. Both my kids had so much fun, and really enjoyed the hour of baking! I was so impressed with the organization, patience, passion and kindness! I will definitely register my children for more classes! Both kids have already asked when can they do another one!

Highly recommended. My 6 year old daughter registered for the Online Friday classes and she loves it! Recipes are simple and easy to follow and very nutritious. Instructor is very friendly and interactive with the children.

Cooksmart is fabulous! The classes are engaging and informative. Besides learning to cook and bake, Kathy incorporates science, maths, and nutrition into her classes. The kids also practice mindfulness with a mindful minute at the end of class. We appreciate the time and energy put into each class.
Cooksmart is an outstanding extracurricular activity; our child loves it.
