With this requirement, I contacted half a dozen IT companies in GTA, every company quoted in millions, and 8 to 12 months duration. To my surprise! they calculated it by doing multiplication of total hours to complete this project, and one developer rate is $600.
While searching on google, I came around this company listing. I contacted them and fixed an appointment. I was not serious about this company, casually wanted to check how they quote. In the meeting, I explained my requirements, max budget, and my product idea. After listening to everything, without doing many bargains, they said, within your budget, we will be able to complete these tasks, features only, and it will take two months to complete, plus 1-month support. They also provided 1-year free AWS. I was happy with the quotation. So, I completed the contract, advance payment of 50% in 1 week. I received a call from their project manager every week and used to show my project. After two months, they said your project is ready, and you can check. I asked every one of my employees to start using the application for one week. This company's accounts lady called me and reminded me to pay the remaining amount, and I didn't want to pay before I am fully satisfied. She said If I don't pay within 30 days, from the 31st day a 2% daily interest will be charged on the remaining amount. I felt a little annoyed as she said it. During our test, my employees thought of a couple of improvements. I contacted the project manager, he said those improvements are new and not part of the project agreement. So they will charge a developer cost and 10 hrs. I said ok. After ten days, I sent two cheques, one with the remaining amount, the second cheque an additional $1000. In the first month, we didn't notice any issues, so we didn't require any support.
I trust this business and its people. They are a little lacking in client interaction, mainly the accounts lady, but their price, work, speed, creativity, communication, and quality are fabulous. They are not a big company, but they will do your project without taking much.
