Making Waves Swim School

As an adult i wanted to learn how to swim since my son and wife were both really good swimmers. My son went through all the levels at Making Waves and i was really impressed on how they teach, their professionalism and the cleanliness of the facility. I decided to enroll on the adult classes. My instructor was Maurice. He is absolutely awesome. By the second class i was able to swim a little bit. By the end of my session I was swimming on my back and I was diving in the deep end. Before taking this class i would have never done that. Maurice was able to keep me calm and teach me how to swim. I also appreciated that the class size was only 2 people so i was able to get dedicated time with Maurice to work on things that i needed to perfect. I am no Michael Phelps but i can now enjoy swimming with my wife and son and i am no longer afraid to be in deep water. I can't wait for my next session and continuing to improve on my swimming skills. Thanks Making Waves and thanks Maurice!!!

I would like to thank the Making Waves staff for teaching my husband to swim after 50 years.

My children swam at Making Waves from the age of six months old. My son failed his swim level four times when he was at level 10 but I was comfortable to know that he would not pass the level until he could complete the necessary skills.

The instructors, supervisors, managers and staff are friendly and always eager to please.

I would recommend this Swim School to anyone. Swimming is a life skill that everyone should acquire.

MWSS has been a good place for my children. The renovations completed make this a much brighter facility that is very welcoming. The staff there are simply amazing... Sam and Rachel are two shinning examples who go above and beyond ensure that children are successful and happy. I have been met with nothing but caring response when I have shared a concern... in fact, the staff go above and beyond to ensure it is dealt with. The front desk staff are also very professional. I have read some of the previous comments and although I sympathize with those parents, I have to say I personally have had nothing but good experiences working with the staff at MWSS. Expensive... but the progress I see in my children can't be denied.

And we love it! Their method shows so much improvement session to session. Instructors are all lovely and positive. Great communication, clean facility. I strongly recommend over the city program.
