(July 16, 2019, 1:45 pm)Very clean. Great communication with the owners. Room was ready ahead of check-in. Bed was very comfy. All amenities were there that we needed. Great for adults/couples (our room had a private bathroom with a shower not a tub and only 1 bed). Amazing location, 2 min walk from the main stretch, and the owners allowed us to keep our car parked on the property all day after we checked-out while we walked around NOTL. Beautiful grounds, with a garden and patio to relax on. Overall awesome experience. My only less than positive note is that the breakfast offered, though pleasant and at a good time (between 9-10:30am) it only consisted of hardboiled eggs (which were warm, so freshly made), white slice bread with butter/jam, sliced watermelon and coffee/juice. I’ve seen more elaborate spreads at other BnB’s, but honestly, we had a light breakfast and then walked into town and got something a little more filling after. So this is minor to me compared to having a convenient, clean and comfy stay – which is what Barker House BnB gave us!

(August 16, 2018, 10:23 pm)The family was very accommodating! They were helpful, and have addressed the problems that other guests have mentioned.
Breakfast was plentiful and we were informed what would be served the day before.
The space was large enough for two people. It was quiet and very clean.
We would highly recommend this B&B. -

(June 5, 2018, 10:10 pm)We will definitely be coming back to and also recommending Barker House to friends and family who visit the area! The owner's and all staff were beyond hospitable, very accommodating to us. We arrived behind schedule for a friend's wedding and the check-in was quick, we needed scissors and they brought them to us within minutes and the breakfast was ready and so delicious upon our arrival to the dining room! Not all BnB's are the same, this one to me is the true definition of what they are meant to be, true to the British/European traditional BnB's, very warm, comfortable, and that feeling as though you are staying with wonderful family or friend's house. Barker House was truly wonderful and our stay exceeded anything that a hotel could possibly offer, no comparison!

(May 21, 2018, 2:09 am)Excellent small business. We checked in late and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful. The units are well furnished and updated, and the price for an evening is very reasonable. The host was kind enough to provide a little gift on our last day. We plan to return and make this a yearly trip.
