(April 30, 2019, 9:25 pm)I had A-1 replace my main floor and stairs with EVP. The hardwood was too far gone to refinish, and the vinyl floor in the kitchen and hall was about done.
At first we took up the vinyl ourselves, but we found that there was too much damage to the subfloor and it had to be replaced also. I called Shane, and he added the cost to our project. It was not as expensive as I feared, and the peace of mind and the fact that it was physically taxing work, made it worth having them do it.
I was pleased with the result all round. I felt the price was fair, the installer Brandon was stellar! He was so careful and diligent.
Everyone who has seen it has raved about how good it looks.

(March 12, 2019, 3:32 pm)Great experience with A1 all around, we had our bedrooms done and carpet put on a set of stairs and we were really happy with the work that was done. The consultation process was helpful but not pushy at all, we were able to take some samples home to test out and received a lot of assistance with choosing a colour. The booking process was simple and seamless, we had a scheduled appointment in a couple of weeks. The workers were efficient, clean and polite. We even had a follow up to check on the job to ensure everything was installed correctly and to our liking. Would recommend A1 to anyone looking for new flooring/carpet.

Their tiler Steve who installed had exceptional workmanship and we are so pleased with the end result. This will be our go to place for all flooring needs, would definitely recommend!
