They renovated our main kitchen/living room area (which involved gutting the existing rooms, taking down some walls and adding others, replacing a staircase), and they also did painting and new trim throughout our entire house. They were fantastic from start to finish! For instance:
-First, Chris and Adam are wonderful human beings. Kind, respectful, and professional. A pleasure to work with. They were also great with covid precautions (masks, distancing, etc), which I really appreciated.
-They were really good at communication, both before and during the construction. They were very fast to respond to all the questions I sent via texts/email
-They know their stuff. We always felt that they were giving us great advice and guidance about construction decisions.
-Their prices were very reasonable, and they were extremely transparent/upfront about any extra costs to be added once the project started. They helped us save significant amounts of money by advising us to buy materials before price jumps happened.
-We got a detailed schedule prior to the start of construction, and they stuck to the schedule to a T! Even when things happened that were beyond their control, they worked so hard to keep everything moving - even coming in on weekends/evenings when needed.
-They brought in great tradespeople in the industry
-They were great at advocating for us when running into snags with suppliers, etc. For example, when our appliances were delivered, the deliverymen initially refused to bring them in, claiming our door was too narrow. But Chris showed them what they needed to do to get it in there, and firmly but respectfully insisted that those appliances would be coming in! If Chris hadn't been there, my fridge would have been left on the sidewalk.
To sum it up, Chris and Adam went above and beyond to provide an excellent (and fast) renovation experience! We are now recommending them to anyone we know who is considering a renovation. Book them! -

(November 24, 2020, 2:13 am)Chris and his team were involved in the renovation of our whole main floor and family room for six weeks. They completed the demolition of plaster walls, and ceilings, drywalled the walls and ceilings, replaced the wood trim, painted, and refinished three sets of railings and spindles.
Chris and his hardworking crew were professional in every way from the excellent quality of their work to their respect for our home and neighbours. Everything was on schedule and Chris always made sure that we knew what was next.
We appreciate your hard work. The experience was positive from beginning to end. Thank you so much. We love the changes. -
