(June 7, 2019, 9:48 am)This is a great park to visit. It is one of the larger parks in St Catharines. There is a playground for the kids and a paved walking path. You can see part of one of the old canals here as well. There is lots of grassy areas to run and play as well as some benches to sit and relax. There is a walking bridge at the back of the park that will take you across Martindale pond to Port Dalhousie and Lakeside Park.

(May 25, 2019, 12:55 am)People need to start picking up thier trash and not leave it behind. Other then that the park is a great place to fetch with the dog or go fishing. Picnic in the park or learn about the history of one of the oldest lock systems in ontario.

(February 17, 2019, 1:52 pm)Always clean, and quiet.. a good spot for a little stroll. And for good short walks with the dog(s). With lots of garbage cans. Can do some fishing it the need arises. Has benches for resting.
