Nine Lives Custom Refinishing

2 years ago we purchased a home that was approx 10 years old. It had a large kitchen and we loved the quality and the layout. Overtime We found it to be just a little too dark. We investigated the possibility of a replacement and quotes came it between $45,000.00 - $60,000.00. We didn’t really want to spend that much money and looked for other options. That’s when we came across Nine Lives Custom Refinishing. Kevin (the co. Owner) dropped by and gave us a quote which we found to be very reasonable. We were still a little hesitant , knowing that if we went ahead with the refinishing and we didn’t like the outcome we would have no alternative but to replace the whole kitchen. We then decided to have Nine Lives take on a smaller project for us....we had them refinish the cabinets in our en-suite, which they did on time and we were totally happy with the job. It still took a little time for us to make the big decision to go ahead with the kitchen refacing project.Kevin was very patient and did not push in any to get us to commit. He was able to take us to see another kitchen project that he had completed...at our request. That made our decision so much easier and we were ready to commit !
All doors,gables and drawer fronts were removed and sent to Nine Lives shop for sanding,priming and spraying. In the meantime they sent Dwayne to our home to perform the same process on our crown moulding, light valance,hood fan etc. Dwayne was amazing, a real perfectionist, and a really nice man.
We highly recommend Nine Lives Custom Refinishing to anyone considering a change of colour to their cabinets. Both Kevin and Dwayne are a pleasure to work with and do fantastic work.
