The first time Stuart came to inspect the sewer backup, he cleared it free of charge for me in which I was surprised since most plumbers will charge you.
His final price for the job was very competitive, and it was actually the lowest quote I received when I was shopping around for sewer line repairs with different plumbing companies. The job was quick and hassle free.
I strongly recommend Stuart and his team to anyone looking for plumbers in the Niagara region. -

Before even performing any work, Stuart spent more than half and hour on the phone with me explaining the process of what they do, what my problem could be, and offered any and all advice he could. This speaks volumes because most times advise is never free. I decided to go ahead with MDS and the work performed was fantastic (even my home inspector was wowed at Stuarts knowledge), was done timely (we were up against a time crunch with they accommodated in short notice, and all with a very reasonable cost. I will for sure have McDowell Drain Services in for any future work at my home because they are trustworthy, do a great job, and are company you definitely want to support - very down to earth. Thanks again!!

(January 8, 2021, 2:14 am)Living in a century home with root issues, multiple back-ups motivated me to reach out to McDowell Drain Services. Stuart was prompt in his response and supplied a very reasonable onsite quote the next day. He provided comfort and reassurance to this anxious home-owner and really took the time to explain all aspects of the drain replacement process.
While I was unable to be on-site the day of the actual replacement, Stuart was communicative throughout and sent me photos both during and after. The crew was meticulous in their work, and what I appreciated the most was how clean the site (inside and out) was left upon completion. How lucky for us in Niagara to have this true gem of a company. -

(January 1, 2021, 6:06 pm)My basement drain backed up on Christmas Eve. I called several companies but only McDowell Drain Services responded. The service man ( Thomas ) worked for about an hour and was able to get the drain flowing again. He then used a snake camera and confirmed the blockage had been removed.
I thought there would be extra charges for the service as it was Christmas but to my pleasant surprise the cost was very reasonable.
I recommend this company.
