Abacot Hall is one of the loveliest bed and breakfasts I have ever been to. We had such a wonderful time that we booked a second vacation for the fall. The owners are absolutely charming and the breakfast was fabulous. The rooms are so lovely and they will accommodate anything that you need. The second floor terrace is so peaceful and beautiful and the grounds are beautifully kept with lovely roses. It's less than a kilometer from shopping and the lake is close so you can walk around or drive if you wish. I can't wait for my next trip!

Ed and Irene are wonderful hosts. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. They are highly knowledgeable about the wineries in the area and are happy to provide you with coupons for the wineries you plan to visit. Breakfast was outstanding. The Eggs Abacot are a must try. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Ed and Irene are fabulous hosts! They keep a beautiful property and the breakfast is made to order straight from the family kitchen. Ed makes everything from local goodies they collect. They are wonderful conversationists and very good people. My sister and I left this morning feeling like we had visited with family. Stay with Ed and Irene for a safe, comfortable and positive visit.
