A team of people, both the trainers and the clients encouraging me to be a healthier me. I enjoy my mornings even if they start at 5. I would highly recommend lakeside for your fitness needs. If you are just a beginner or more advanced, their expert team will get you on the path to your fitness goals.

Small group fitness classes led by very experienced and knowledgeable coaches. Great programming for everyone from beginners to advanced. Positive energy and encouraging, enthusiastic, caring coaches make you want to come back even after a tough workout!

(December 31, 2020, 4:07 pm)Lakeside Athletics is hands-down my favourite gym. And a huge shoutout to Lep and Christian for opening during such a difficult year. They are both extremely qualified and know how to push you to the limit in the best way possible with your workouts. The facility is great and classes have a perfect mix of cardio (C2 and HIIT) and/or strength training (MetCon) so there's something for everyone. As someone who had very minimal experience with weightlifting prior to joining, I felt comfortable and safe from day one. They both take the time to ensure you are doing things correctly and with proper form. Not to mention, the community they have built at the gym in such a short time is incredible! If you're in the area, I definitely recommend and encourage you to try it out, you won’t be disappointed.
