Osteopathy by Carla

I have suffered with chronic neck and low back pain for 5 years and Carla has helped relieved my pain tremendously. I lead a very active lifestyle where my main sports are mountain biking, golfing and alpine ski racing. I’ve been ski racing for more than 40 years, and I still do today. I also work out regularly, and most of my sports are at a competitive level. Having been an athlete for the better part of my teenage and adult life, I’ve grown a custom to being in pain most of the time, but the pain I was experiencing was beyond typical. I suffered from chronic back pain as well as hip pain and extremely limited range of motion.
I tried physiotherapy  for several years to no avail, as well as other different approaches. Surgeons told me I needed a hip replacement, but I was too young, so I had to find another avenue.
My sister suggested that I should try an osteopath, so I did. I started working with Carla, and by the second visit, she had reduced my back pain significantly.
She also improved my range of motion in my hips so I could get back to the level of proficiency in my golf swing and my ski racing that I once had.
Carla is very thorough in her assessments and not afraid to try different techniques to get better results with every session. Coming from a sports background herself, she understands and has first-hand knowledge of injuries and pain associated with it.  Before I started working with her, I contemplated quitting the sports that I loved because of how bad the pain was. She gave me a new lease on life to be able to practice the sports that I love.
My daughter, who is also an Alpine ski racer with one rebuild knee (ACL, MCL, LCL all torn) and the other fractured knee, also works with Carla.
