(June 14, 2019, 12:42 pm)Amazing! Don't put your kids in town programs. They stand for 90% of the lesson, swim for 1 minute then wait again. We wasted our money on them for 4 years! Janet and her instructors are great!

When our daughter first started she loved the water but did not know how to swim. It is incredible to see her progress and all that Janet has taught her! Janet Barber Aquatics does not only teach the kids to swim, but teaches the proper techniques in hand with the discipline to move on to the next level.

(May 29, 2015, 8:51 pm)Our 4 children have attended Janet Barber Aquatics for the past 4 years. Having tried other swim schools in Oakville, we have found this one to be the best. The classes are small and the instructors are well-trained and attentive. Janet is always present for "quality control". She is available to parents and swimmers and is very accommodating. We highly recommend Janet Barber Aquatics !

The lessons have a great teacher student ratio which allows for an excellent experience for your child (or even yourself - Janet offers lessons to all ages!). Janet is an extremely supportive mentor, who coaches her staff on both a personal and professional level. Many of her families return year after year, excited to progress from being non-swimmers to wearing the coveted red staff sweatshirt. Janet's high attention to detail and small classes ensure a positive learning experience.
