  Clean and beautiful space, very open lots of natural light and love that music is playing all the time. The staff is wonderful often going above and beyond expectations. The quality of care and overall dedication of each staff member is evident in the happiness and comfort of the residents. The residents are treated like family and Birkdale has made this very difficult and challenging transition for our loved one such a positive experience.

  Great building! The staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to help you with any query that you may have. The management team is amazing! They were all very helpful and forthcoming with any information I requested. They all helped to make my family member's transition as easy and stress free as possible. The ED, Cindy Du Plessis-White, is truly amazing. She helped us to understand everything and was very patient with our million questions. She is truly the reason my family member moved in!

  I have had the up most respect for this retirement home. The staff have been extremely helpful and very respectful to not just me but to the other family residing in the building. I would still recommend this residence for other folks who need a good home for their aging family members who need the care.

  Great retirement home. A family member retired here and loves it. Assisted living, lots of friends, great amenities, privacy, shuttle rides.
