(November 18, 2021, 9:44 pm)I got hooked on biltong while living in London in the UK, where it was made by a South African family and it was delicious. When moving home to Canada, the jerky and other meat snacks just could not compare to the deliciousness of biltong. Meat Makers makes incredible biltong with a slight twist on traditional South African stuff, Meat Makers biltong is lean and not too salty, it is incredibly delicious and is great portable snack. It really hits the spot when you are out hiking, fishing or snowmobiling. But be warned, once you start, it is hard to stop!

(November 3, 2021, 2:40 pm)Jerky vs Biltong….no contest!! Meat Makers Biltong is far less salty and the real flavour of the beef comes through. Only problem is that it seems to disappear faster than I’d like! 😋
I especially love the “Chili” version…the heat level is perfect and pairs surprisingly well with a cold, delicious beer! Well done Meat Makers!
