Despite some CT franchises being found to have been price fixing fuel.
I like this particular store because of the staff and it was recently remerchandized.I am there frequently picking up a few minor items and something that has come on sale and I have received an email as a result of it being on my sale alert list They are very helpful in giving advice about products that you really can't find reviews for. I have been given a rain check on a sold out "on sale" item, and been advised about the extended sale period which is that you can still get items that went off sale on Friday up until Monday if I recall correctly. My experiences with the auto department are very different with my having issues with questionable, possibly unfounded repair suggestions, added charges and the quality of the work done (incorrect repair and damaged and lost parts) and no longer service my vehicles there as a result. Their tire selection is excellent, tire but prices are usually the highest around, but they may do price matching.. If you are knowledgeable you can find well known high quality items that have been rebranded for CT for much lower prices when on sale that you can find for the manufacturer's brand. Their weekly flyer usually runs around 44 pages with around 1K items on sale. As others have said their return policy has tightened likely to keep costs down which I appreciate, that said I have been able to have them look up purchases made on a credit card and make exchanges. They now have "My Canadian Tire Money" and even offer it on CC purchases. -
