St Christopher's Cooperative Pre-School

St. Christopher's preschool has been an absolutely amazing experience for my daughter. The environment is very warm, friendly and fun! They have a great outdoor play area which not many half day schools have. My daughter loves her teachers and can't wait to go to school each day. I would recommend this preschool to friends and family and I will be back with my son when he's of age!

The teacher's are lovely and have been supportive in helping my quiet and anxious child become comfortable in a "school like" setting. It's also a play-based learning program similar to the Ontario JK/SK program, but with with a higher ratio of adults to children. Being a cooperative program, I've found the cost and commitment on the part of the parents to be minimal.

Both of my children went to St. Christopher's Preschool. It is a small and caring community with a great student-to-teacher ratio. The teachers are amazing and they really helped my youngest come out of his shell. They teach age-appropriate social, play and academic skills (like pre-reading/writing, art, etc.) in a fun environment that we reinforce at home, and the skills that they learn helped them with their transition to JK. I would highly recommend St. Christopher's Preschool to any family looking for a great preschool experience with caring teachers.

We couldn't be happier with the program at St. Christopher's Preschool. Our daughter has grown so much academically and socially since attending in September. The teacher's provide a welcoming and caring environment that encourages the children to discover the world around them. As an educator myself I have expectations in a learning environment which this preschool greatly exceeds. The experiences my child takes home from this preschool will help to prepare her for kindergarten and ensure a smooth transition into an elementary school environment. We will continue to send our daughter to St. Christopher's next fall and send our younger daughter when she is old enough.

What a wonderful place! For our daughter's FIRST away from home experience, we couldn't have asked for more. Amazing staff, small class sizes, great community of local families and lots of opportunity for learning and play. My daughter has medical issues that require special care and attention. The lovely staff have been warm, kind and very able to manage her needs. I feel very confident that she is in safe environment that she can develop all of the skills she will need to ready her for her next steps to kindergarten. So happy to have found this gem in Burlington.
