Saving Thyme Catering and Patisserie

Great tasting food and such a cute place for lunch. The BLT, the French onion soup, and the pastries are all delicious. Great service by Emma and everything was great! Will always be back.

Alex and Phil from Saving Thyme catered our outdoor wedding this past weekend. I could go on for hours praising them for their amazing hospitality and beyond delicious food but I will try to keep it short.
During our planning phases Alex and Phil were nothing short of humble and hospitable. Their food is truly second to none and don’t get me started on those late night mini Mac and cheese mason jars, they were to die for. We received countless comments on not only how delicious the food was, but how amazing the staff was as well. So accommodating for allergies, quick and precise, and extremely friendly.
They also catered our breakfast for the bridal party leading up to the best day of our lives and it was fantastic.
There’s something about the love and time Alex and Phil put into everything they do, especially their food that truly showed the day of our wedding.
Our special day really wouldn’t have been the same without Saving Thyme, so thank you for everything!

Delectable! Beautiful interior, friendly staff, gorgeous pastries, lovely menu. What a delightful place to eat in Burlington. We bought extra baked treats to bring home. The display case at the front of the patisserie made me hungry just looking at it. A nice variety of exquisitely crafted pastries like eclairs and other treats like scones are worth the trip to Appleby Line.

The food is fantastic! The menu is better than going to a chain restaurant. The staff are great. They doubled the size of their premises and there was still a bit of wait to get a table yet worth the wait. Their desserts are out of this world. You can get take out. Also they cater. This place is very popular for women. I have been going for years and it's my favourite.

Every time I go there something special happens.

One time, the owner kindly made a key lime pie when I had asked for it last minute.

Today, I went there for a break after a hard event. When I arrived I had asked if they had a piece of their key lime pie, they were sold out. After a while, unexpectedly the waitress came over and said they had found one last piece. I couldn't believe her kindness even just doing that. When I went to pay for my meal, another waitress said "you're fine. don't worry about it". It was one of the most remarkable things.

I can't thank the owner and their wonderful staff enough for always going above and beyond.
