I began seeing Barbara Burrows over 2 1/2 years ago after wasting over 35 years of my life, diagnosed with bipolar disorder with constant suicidal thoughts and living in a psychotropic fog under the direction of a psychiatrist that wasn't helping me at all. In late 2015 I finally decided enough was enough, walked out of his office, within a short period of time stopped taking his recommended mind numbing psychiatric drugs and began seeing Barbara. It's been difficult work but definitely worth it because I've seen so many incredible positive changes within myself, no more abnormal mood swings, no more suicidal depression, and no more horrifying nightmares. Psychoanalysis is not magic, it's logic! In my view, much of the psychiatric world simply diagnoses you with depression, leaves you on mind numbing drugs indefinitely but never bothers to investigate the source of the depression. You can't just put a bandage on an infected wound and expect it to heal on its own! Thank you to Barbara and psychoanalysis!
