G.I. Metal Works

George's work was fantastic! I had floors installed in townhouse I rent. The installers must have moved metal and aluminum bed frame by the decorative footboard. Needless to say the decorative aluminum parts were either completely broken or had stress fractures. I heard about George's work and decided to drive from Whitby to have him determine if the frame could be repaired. George assured me it would be challenging but he would do his best. Two weeks later I picked up the footboard. Fabulous! The work is fantastic. I would highly recommend George.

I was looking to get a driveway gate made and installed for my house. So I went into Leathertown lumber to ask if they could recommend anyone. They immediately said George @ G.I. Metal Works without any hesitation.
Had him custom design my gate. Quality made exactly how we had agreed on. Shortly afterwards had him design some brackets to hold my granite countertop.
Couldn't be happier. Looking forward to George doing my next metal project.

As we were looking to have front gates put on our property, we searched and found G.I. Ironworks online. Having just moved to the Acton Area, we wanted to deal with someone locally, if at all possible.

We had a basic idea of what we wanted, how much we wanted to spend and our time frame. We found George to be a pleasant and humble man, who provided us with hand drawing rendition of the gate that we wanted and assured us that what we were asking for he would be able to provide in the time frame we had in mind. Along the way, George suggested we might like to have this added, or that subtracted and we really appreciated this as some of it, were things that we would have never thought about. George kept us informed all the way throughout this process.
We absolutely love our beautiful gate and side fences and know this has enhanced the appearance as well as the value of our home! We tremendously enjoyed working directly with George and found him to be an outstanding craftsman in his field. We so much more enjoyed this process, rather than going through a large organization.
