  Good food. Lunch specials are a good deal. It took a ridiculously long time to get my takeout order, partly because they got the order wrong the first time. However, since this place has only been open for a few months and they may still be working out a few adjustments, I will try them again in a month or so.

  We try to visit an alternative food restaurant every week, if we can. I was unaware that this was part of the Tropical Restaurant chain. The location is good at Brock and Hwy 2. The service was very good; for the size of this location, it is well planned and the food was above average. The taste was a little different, in a good way from the morningside location. I've been back on family day (Ontario) and found that they were the only restaurant open on time.

  New Owner- different Roti, not the same at all, large portion but not the same. More mash potato aka over cooked potatoes, and no longer white meat. Don't get me wrong i love dark meat as much as white, but for a boneless chicken roti i prefer white meat that's been cooked in a pressure pot. If i wanted dark meat roti i would go to Taste of TnT. Now my go to Roti spot is I love Roti, or Roti hut in Scarborough.

  We were there yesterday, for several hours. The place was so so cold, we had our gloves on, while eating. The waitress did try to have it fixed, by making some calls. But, it took a while and we got the impression that it was like that throughout the day. While the food was satisfactory, we had to endure the cold, like if we were eating outside. Management should ensure that there is heat.
  We were even thinking of boxing the food and taking it to the Ajax location
