Nancy has now custom quilted three very different quilt tops for me - each unique, and all beautifully done.

The first was a machine pieced batik 9 patch queen size quilt. After consultation, Nancy and I chose a modified all over stipple design, incorporating some floral elements, of her own design.

The second was a hand pieced diamond star king size quilt. Again, after consultation, Nancy and I chose an all over design, not quite a stipple, and beautifully suited to the quilt. Rather than taking away from the pieced design, the 'fluffy' design served to accent it.

The third one was a custom modified log cabin queen size quilt I designed and pieced as a commission piece. The quilt incorporated 36 different monkey print fabrics. Nancy sourced an all over design that included leaves on a vine, with monkeys scattered throughout. With the busy top, the monkeys don't show up, but they show clearly on the back, making it a double-sided quilt for a true monkey fan.

All three quilts were nicely done, and finished in a timely fashion, with edges trimmed and stabilized, all ready for binding. (Nancy will also do binding for you as well, but I enjoy doing my own binding,) I'm very happy with the price I paid for the service, and already have a couple more tops almost ready for Nancy's magic touch.

I cannot say enough good things about the beautiful work Nancy did on my quilt. I had been working for months piecing together a quilt for my Grandmother's 85th birthday present and was very excited about it. Exactly two weeks before her birthday I had my quilt top pieced, basted and ready to quilt. At this point my machine, a very basic model from Canadian Tire, went crazy and rather than sew, started to eat and destroy the fabric. I found the number for Rougemount Quilting Services and called in panic. It was a bit late on a Friday night and I thought I would get a machine. Instead, Nancy answered, calmed me down and enthusiastically assured me that she could help me out. I sent her some photos, we talked about threads and quilting options, pricing (better than any I had found elsewhere) and what I had in mind for the finished quilt. With time to spare she returned it to me and it is better than hoped for. The stippling is smooth and lovely and the stitches small and even. She did the binding just beautifully and even included a label for the quilt. When my Grandma opened it she was so pleased she cried. I couldn't be happier and can't wait to finish my next one.
