(August 26, 2019, 7:55 pm)Last Saturday, it was my first visit and I didn’t know what to expect. I loved the country style atmosphere, it reminded me of my very young days at my grandmothers’ home in the country.
The food was plenty and very good and the show was entertaining, I had quite a few laughs. After the show, we went back downstairs for Spanish coffees and we had the opportunity to chat with some of the cast.
Overall, it was a great evening and I am looking forward to the next show in September. Great value for the money. Thank you.

(May 31, 2019, 3:39 pm)My first time, and not my last. I was pleasantly surprised with the facility. The owners kept with the theme and attendees can enjoy the rustic surroundings. I did not partake of the bar this time, but the food was on target for their clientele.
The theater performance was well written to ever draw you into the scene on stage; beginning at a level three all the way to the finale at a seven. great job. The management, staff and the cast, did a great job. Some people forget (even though they are told) "no photography in the theater.

I actually don't know how to reply to the Herongate Barn's question, so I'm editing my review as a way of answering the question.
Dear Sirs, I have been to many theaters across the good lands of the Americas and only one in Asia, to date. I rate as I stand the day of the event; even establishments in Manhattan has received a four star. I do hope you realize that three stars is above average, I would give the experience over 60%. I have been to dozens of locations (performing and non-performing arts) and never done a review, because it would hurt the businesses, so I don't. You have, and are doing a good service to Durham Region (Ontario), and as I said, I'll be back. Thank you.
