Ok decor but 1 side is under renovation so look ls like things r falling apart and waitress doesn't really wear a mask... like she has 1 hanging of her neck so it doesn't count -

(November 5, 2020, 9:23 pm)Honestly I came to this place under a pretense (of a lively party atmosphere), but from what they treated me to I felt a sense of home and a bit of belonging. I went out of my way to get here, but we'll worth it. I got "MIXED FRIED RICE". I haven't seen that syntax since I've been in Jamaica! The rice was hella delicious too! They also serve alcohol so grab an intimate group and enjoy some vibes. District lounge will do it

(September 20, 2020, 4:05 am)Despite living nearby, this was my first time going to District Lounge in Pickering. Starlite in Scarborough and Caribbean Cabana in Markham are its sister restaurants, all serving very tasty and familiar Caribbean Chinese dishes.
On this occasion, I was attending a reception where the food was served kinda buffet style - not self serve. The menu included Fried Rice, Lo Mein, Stir-Fried Veggies with Chicken, Roasted Chicken, Curry Goat, Jerk Pork, Rice and Peas, and White Rice. There was an assortment of Caribbean soft drinks to wash it all down.
The food was actually quite good. I would come back here again, especially with their many lunch specials for only $5.99!

I was so impressed with the food, I came back a few days later and had one of their lunch specials - Chili Chicken. It was a generous serving and tasted great! I'll definitely be back to try more of their delicious food.
