Stonewood Equestrian

I highly recommend this barn to all levels of riding.

I am so happy I chose Stonewood as my barn of choice. I have decided to get back into the saddle after a five year break and continue my passion which I hope to never stop doing again.

Stonewood has been absolutely so kind and helpful in finding a perfect lesson spot for me. As well, the lesson horses are absolutely top notch and all in amazing shape and obviously very well cared for. This is always the first thing I notice when I start a new barn as horse care is the most important thing to me.
I have ridden at three different barns over the span of my 11 years of riding, and I have to say, the staff here are the kindest I have ever met, as well as the design of the barn and the stonework is absolutely gorgeous.

I rode an amazing horse(pony?) named Bella who challenged me in the absolute best and safest way and I really hope to ride her again soon because I can't stop thinking about how amazing she was, and I really feel that I can learn on her. She was honestly perfect and if I wasn't so new I would beg my mom to let me half-lease her or something haha.

Anyways after two lessons now I feel I have a bit of an idea of the culture of the barn and it is top notch, this is a special place that I could not be happier with.

Beautiful and amazing, and they have horses you can really learn on! So excited for my next lesson and thank you Stonewood for being so welcoming.

We had an amazing experience at Stonewood for my daughter's 9th birthday. Staff were so knowledgeable, courteous and super friendly. They put the kids at ease and told them all about the horses and their personalities. The horses were wonderful! The kids brushed them, fed them carrots, and rode them in the arena. It was a memorable evening!

My daughter has attended camps and lessons here for 5 years and loves it. Beautiful property, well cared for horses, clean facility, friendly and helpful staff, well run lesson program and I really can't say enough good things about the coaches. Very supportive and fun.

My daughter has done her fair share of horse camps over the years and Stonewood tops the list!
We took her to the Winter Camp and it was only a few days and she loved it. She loved that they let her groom and get the horses ready, definitely a hands on experience if your child loves horses!
Everyone we met was very friendly, and my daughter loved her coaches! We do the drive from Toronto to take here and we are happy to do so for this great facility. The horses are very well taken care of.
